The goal is always home,
For all of us dwelling on this earth...
And when I fix my eyes on the needs,
and pray past the dismal seeds
of fear and approval and shame...
I see the truth and I will choose to obey,
I will step out and follow His lead,
I will trust in the fullness of His promises,
and what He's called out and spoken to me.
So it's from this place that I excitedly share
that in my heart and in my home, I have prepared a space.
For little guests from the foster system
to be empowered and loved and safe!

I'm walking in full faith through a door that God has clearly opened... and I'm expecting. I'm expecting that He will continue to be the faithful, intentional, and good Father that He is... I'm expecting my days to be a little fuller, my home to be a little noisier, and my life to be a whole lot richer! This journey has been preceded by the most purposeful preparation and I am beyond excited to extend my time, my arms, and my home to a child in need!
